I sold a $20 giftcard to Taco Bell at Christmas on Ebay. I sent it in a #10 envelope with just a stamp on it. The buyer contacted me a week later saying she hadn't gotten it yet, and asked if I could track it. I couldn't because I hadn't gotten a DC#. I refunded her money, and learned my lesson. I don't know if she was being honest or not, but I felt I needed to refund her money.

Marie, I have 12 babies from you. The last five didn't hatch. I am very happy! Most are white, but there are 2 or 3 partridge, and several black, blue, or splash. The white ones really have nice crests!

My understanding is that a Delivery Conformation (DC#) is required for the swap. Am I wrong ?????





p.s. I NEVER ship without on, it is 75 cents....well worth it !!!

From the rules on the swap thread:
All items must be shipped with tracking # and please email or PM that information to the swappee.
Actually, if you print your label at home, it is cheaper and a delivery confirmation is free!

They loose things even with delivery confirmation. Like the empty box I got from Edna. The post office never gave me my item. I filed a claim with the post office and never heard anything. So it doesn't always help.

They always manage to mess something up.

Has there been any news on the auction section here?  Will it be going back to something similar to the old bidding system?  I am out of the loop and forget to pay attention. 

IDK what is up with the auctions, not much selling. Maybe folks are spending all their money on gas. Even my eBay auctions did not sell this week:-(

I am listing on a few sites and nothing. I have my paint hens listed for $55 buy it now. That is cheap. Still nothing. I paid $125 each for them last summer. They are nice quality too. I don't know what is going on.

I see some auctions going for ridiculous prices and I can't even practically give my stuff away. I don't know how I can make any money at home anymore. I have exhausted all of my resources and ways to make money. I am hoping that I have better luck at the craft show on March 3rd.

Kim, I'll be in Springfield on June 1, 2 & 3. I could bring you some new babies, but that is a looong way off.

There is a guy down that way with purebred Lavender Orps, going to try and come home with a couple of them too.
