I think that sounds like a good rule-when I ship from home (almost always!) I always get the DC-it is free, so why not? I have forgotten to do it a time or two when I had to go to the post office, however. I learned my lesson, though, with the gift card I sold. I would do it on anything-you can put a gift card in a priority mail envelope and put DC on it. Yes, it costs more than .44, but a $10 gift card is already below the value of some people's swaps, and many of us pay another $8-10 to ship too. You can always do paypal if you don't want to pay the extra to send a gift card.

I think this is a great idea.

I got into a bad habit of not using tracking numbers a few swaps back.

Hope I'm not banned from swapping.

There really isn't anything I can do right now, I stopped swapping last week bacause I am broke and can't afford to ship anything else. I really care about the people I swap with and the items they claim. I will file a claim tommorrow about your item Henthymes (dont know how much that will do though)

Good morning everyone.

I would like everyone to consider adding an item to our rules.

I think that we need to add as it is required that all swap items be mailed with delivery confirmation.

In the event that an swap item is lost in the mail, if there is a confirmation on the postal tracking that the item was accepted by the post office and not received then the person sending the package will be deemed as completing the swap. If an item is mailed without a delivery confirmation and is lost in the mail, then it will be required that additional items be offered & that choice be mailed to the person that did not receive the first item.

We have had both situations happen on the swap. I hope that everyone will agree that this will be a possible way to handle any problems in the future. Please make additional suggestion if you have some. I will be out for most of the day and evening but will check back tomorrow to see how everyone wants to handle this.

My husband had emergency heart bypass surgery. He is in the hospital. If you bought eggs for 2/25 I did not send them out. If you want to wait he may be home Monday and I can probably start shipping again after that . If you want a refund please let me know and I will refund your money. I am truly sorry but I cannot think of anything but him right now.

Well since I can't have free ranging peafowl cause they don't like our weather here I am going tomorrow to pick up a pair of Heritage Turkeys I found on craigslist for real cheap. Had to make sure they weren't aggressive first. The last ones I had attacked my kids. But I didn't have a hen for them.

Reesepoultry, I got my eggs today! Thank you! Everything made it in great shape, except 2 quail eggs, they got pressed together in shipping and were "dented" lol - Thanks so much for all the eggs, am very excited.

Sorry about the 2 quail eggs. Glad everything else made it okay. I ran out of quail egg cartons. and tried to compromise. Let me know how everything goes.
