Is that a sheepie towel I see....??? :D And those aprons are ADORABLE! Just remember, lower prices means you'll sell more, but you'll make less per item.

Yep, it is a sheep. Thanks.

I know, but I have to make sure that I get the money back for the supplies I had to buy and the time I have in them. I had to buy all the towels and the stuff that goes on them. Plus I has to buy the fabric for the aprons and the bias tape and the thread. Except the Horse one that was a trade on here. The tote bags were trades and ones I had. But I bought the thread and the webbing for the bags. Plus I have the money in shipping out the items I traded and the stuff I traded. I want to sell them but I don't want to be in the red either. Just want to make it a fair price too. I know the cheap aprons you buy at walmart are priced $8-$20 and they are as heavy duty as I make. I have a back on the aprons you can't see in the picture. I don't know what to price stuff for the craft show.

I have $1 in each towel just buying the towel. Plus the appliques on the towels and sewing them on and time. So by the time I sell them for $3-4 ea it is what I have in them. Not sure if it is gonna be worth my time. But I guess I will see.

I love those bags. Really wish I could find a pattern for them.
Your prices seem a bit low in my opinon. If we still had our tack store, I'd buy all of them at that price to resell. Our feed store up the road had one in there for sale for 20.99. It was gone the very next time I went in there.

I was thinking that as well. I see those bags on Etsy for around $10-15. Towels I'd say $5-6, maybe even $8. And the aprons, probably $20.

No less than $6 for the towels. I don't know what bags go for but definately you're underselling yourself. Higher price is often perceived to be higher quality. $20 sounds like a good midprice for the aprons to me.

Michelle, is there a feed store nearby you could do business with? I'm lucky to have both a commercially owned and privately owned feed store nearby, although I don't sew anything.

I agree! Don't undersell yourself. Point out the quality to your customers, but don't apologize or feel the need to justify your prices, either. You worked hard on those. Those that can appreciate that will pay for it.

It is like Christmas here today!

Thanks guys that helped a lot. I thought maybe I was asking too much but, have to include the time and materials I have in them.

Patricia: I don't know if my local feed stores will buy and sell them. I live in a very small town.

Depending on how good the tote bags sell I may not make them anymore. I can't sell anything on here. I have tried, Not having much luck anywhere else either. This is my last hope. So I am trying to make plenty of different things to take with me to try and help them sell. I also had business cards made up because a lot of people were looking for them the last time. I am hoping to get back at least the $25 I paid to be in the craft show.
