Coolness, just set some last night. I see his spot.

I've got 25 looking good for lockdown on the birthday hatch, with 13 quail. 3 OE, 1 Crev, 1 AS, 5 Buckeyes, 11 mixes, 4 Buff Brahmas. Cot quailies. Already have buyers for quail and 8 chicks.

yeah, my last hatch was a mess, I was sickly, so I only have an idea of what hatched. was trying to sell some chicks and I'm like "uh, I know there're BLRWs and Leghorn/leghorn crosses..." I'm trying cardboard dividers in the bator this time and took note of what made it this far.

If you have a craft store near by, you can get the plastic canvas they use for needlework and whipstich the sides together with wire or plastic and make boxes to hatch out different eggs. If you use plastic lacing for the whip stitching, you can throw them in the dishwasher to clean them. The bottoms are great to prevent spraddle leg. I made my boxes out of 1/4" hardware cloth.
