I just had to show off my latest chicks hatched from Sebrightmom eggs (partridge/blue partridge silkie). These chicks are turnng out so beautiful!!!


Here's one of them with a chick from the same parents that hatched out over Thanksgiving. The yellow chick is a white Sizzle from BHep egg:

I have 4 beautiful white silkies from an earlier Mary Robbins hatch, I will have to get pics of them. They don't wanna be still, lol.

CUTE chicks!!

Coldupnorth... Yes, I took pics when I did the waterers.... I should make a little page about them.... but yes, they do require electricity, but we just put 50W bulbs in them and they are working great to keep the water from freezing, they day we plugged them in, the water was frozen and they were able to unfreeze the water!! Saw something similar on Meyers hatchery and randall burkey for $50, we made 3 of them for about $45, so they're much cheaper to make, and fast, took us about an hour... oh, I saw the idea on a thread... let me find it and post it here for you also...

I put mine on bricks, I LOVE them!! We used the aluminum waterers that are about 18inches across, instead of the cookie tins....

Here's the link... they have ideas on there if you don't have electicity, too... we ran an extension cord and DH used the cookie tin to cover the connection between 2 cords so they won't get wet...

I spent $470.00 came home with $280.00

But I had a GREAT time. Any time away with my husband is a great time! He on the other played on $250 bucks and came home with $300.00. He is always a slow, steady gambler. I go all willy nilly and just have a blast. I played on a $5 slot machine but had a heart attack when I accidently hit max bet ($15.00). I won $40 bucks and got off that machine fast!

I am playing the 550 million dollar POWERBALL tonight. Anyone else playing it too??
