No pictures yet, but 7/7 hatched. I really never imagined I'd get a 100% hatch rate on shipped and ill handled serama eggs, lol. The last one was another white with feathered legs as well.

Ohhh I'm so excited lol and I didnt even hatch them lol , remember to grind up there food . Can't wsit to see them and in a few days find out if you got any frizzles

It's been a very long time since I dealt with frizzles. Do the wing tips come in frizzled?

Yep just slightly at first but they look a little didfrent then the normal babies

Awesome! I can't remember... Is frizzle a dominant trait? I, for some reason, was thinking that it was. If it is, I should get like 25% frizzle, if I had an even amount from each hennie and of course if the genes flew even, lol.

Yes, breed frizzle to non frizzle, 50% frizzled chicks. Dont breed frizzle to frizzlle, you get frazzled chicks with super brittle feathers that break easy.

Awesome! So, I should get 1-2 frizzle. I'm GUESSING that the little whites are from the white hennie, although maybe the other hennie and the roo carry that gene? The black one (not blue, I got confused, lol) *should* be from the black frizzle hen, and maybe the other brown ones as well.

I thought feather legs was a dominant trait as well. Silkie bred to something else equals feather legged birds... Brahma bred to leghorn equals feathered legs. I didn't see feathered legs in Gabrielle's trio though, so why do I have four feather legged birds?
