Reese---how bout trips? We sometimes get mice in the house traps are the best. Last year we had 15!!!! I could not believe it. Thats what I get for living in the woods. We had none this year.

Jim--sorry you have to get rid of some of the flock

I just bought 2 rat traps from the store and Planned on putting up a barrier so my silkies couldn't cross it to get to the trap but when I put the peanut butter on the traps and tried to set them let's just say I wore the peanut butter several times. They are much harder to set than the mice traps. hubby said he would help, but never did and I don't plan on it in the future so I need to compromise something I can do on my own. I don't get any help around here so I have to rely on doing everything on my own when it comes to my farm animals especially.

I know what you mean. But I guess that's the way it is unless they need help like finding something in the house that he has lived in for 16 years

My friend uses the Rat Zapper, I know you bought some traps already... I hope they work for you, if not... she really likes the Zapper..

I looked them up and if the water trick don
't work I will definately have to go to Home Depot to buy one of these.

Went to the Lake City, Fl show today. On the way home with a Splash Silkied Ameraucana trio (rooster silkied, hens split) and a black bantam cochin pair (rooster is frizzled).
