x2 on Prissy being home and nevery having too many chicken runs. My Valentine's present from hubby is going to be a little late, but it is in the works - he is ordering parts to fix my Rcom20 incubator

Whoot! Which means more babies! So maybe more runs/pens/houses? lol

Prissy is back home. I'll have to groom her/shave her tomorrow. Her white fur is now totally brown. She was so excited when she saw us, did not even have to ask/tell her to get in, she jumped right in and wagged her tail. She rode all the way home on the oldest daughter's lap. Almost knocked us down trying to get in the house. Ate like she was starved.....
The girl told me she was sorry. I just grunted at her and left. I'll take chickens over people any day.

On a better note....
I got my V-day gift early. Well sort of... Hubbie is turning the goat barn into..... wait for it..... wait forrrr it.... MORE CHICKEN RUNS! lololol I love this man.

Valentine's Day is a really hard holiday for me. The next few days are the roughest days I endure all year... 3 years ago today, my husband and I were in Las Vegas at a conference, expecting to go see Bill Engvall that night and have a Valentine's Day dinner together, but that was not to be. He dropped to his knees in WalMart that morning. He had suffered a massive stroke... He was gone by the next morning, only machines keeping him alive until family could come to say good-bye... He was the love of my life, my best friend, the rock that, along with my Lord, I had built my life upon... Hug your husbands, your wives, your children, anyone in your life who matters... You just never know when they will be gone...

Your story always makes me cry, and that it happened on Valentine's Day makes it seem even sadder, although it would be just as sad any day of the year. You are an inspiration to me.

My husband has been under a lot of stress lately, due to his job, and has been a total grouch most of the time lately. I love him dearly and wouldn't trade him for anything, I just wish HE could see that.

He was working all day and won't be home until 1:30 A.M. so he got Rachael to get me some roses and Ferraro Rocher chocolates-although Rachael put a bug in his ear!

I am still looking for an incubator, I've been considering the little giant incubator from TSC. I don't have a ton of money right now to purchase the higer priced ones. I am reading that some people love it and others hate it. I guess that's with everything out there, I suppose I need to buy it and try it. I guess if it's crappy then I can either return it or sell it. I would make one but I am not handy at all, and I don't have anyone around here to make one for me. I wish I did, I LOVE reusing items.

Does anyone on here have a little giant, do you like it or love it, any info will be very helpful. THANKS
