Its the best little secret around. You just call brinsea and ask what they have in terms of factory blemished incubators- give them model names that you are interested in. Factory blemished incubators work just as good as the rest, they just got banged up in the factory so they aren't as pretty. Mine at first look appears to have hairline cracks in the plastic but if you touch it it's smooth. My husband says this happens when the plastic gets too hot when it's being made, but doesn't actually affect the plastic.
I can't believe how reliable my bator is. I love it and have had no problems.

Heh. It's tempting to mine the hen's choice again just so you can mine my offer again.... Susan's eggs hatch like crazy! I've got 4 BBS Ameraucana's out so far this morning and at least one more pipped.

And one of CPL's CCL's has pipped!! Whooooooop! All three looked good at lockdown...
