I need more call duck eggs. I was having trouble hatching any eggs and my last batch did not hatch. Now my last batch I sat all hatched but one and I have another hatching today. I've gotten many porcelain silkies from my new girls. When they stop being broody I'll be selling the eggs. I have enough to choose from to add to my pen. I got several lavenders also.

If anybody wants to swap some splash silkie or sizzle eggs for some call duck eggs please PM me.

I'm glad that you like it, I know they weren't your first choice. I forgot to post the taking number, so mine could be released. I mined, the curly willow.

I got my first choices and extras also. Thank you. I used to swap alot but my china cabinet is full now. lol I would get every chicken related item I could. I don't have much room anymore. I got some pot holders and was very pleased with them. She made them look like silkies. I tacked them up on the back wall of my china cabinet.

What are call ducks?

They are a bantam sized duck. Tiny little things - smaller than my bantam Wyandotte chickens.

My friend has tried to hatch over 200 calls this year and only got 15? To hatch!!! Had assist everyone out of its shells as well?? Her bator was top notch too

I had to help alot of the chickens out this year as well. I'm guessing something about our weather. My broodies do a better job but they have had some not hatch as well. One hen had all her eggs hatch and it was her first time.

Thats crazy I had 13 call duck eggs 1 hatched 1 pipped and died The rest made it full term but didnt even pip same with some mixed duck eggs I had to help 1 and 1 hatched by itself 2 pipped and died out 45 eggs these were both mailed to me...But I have also had to help my chicks hatch and I havnt had to before

I've had 2 porcelain chicks hatch yesterday on time and one hatched this morning and it's cord was still wet. I just checked on it and had to cull because it was pulling it's guts out. I have 3 more pipped and almost all the way zipped. I'm probably going to have to help them because I opened the bator. I expect them to get shrink wrapped now. I've got the humidity up higher than I normally do because the last hatch it was up high because of the duck eggs and all but 1 hatched. Assisted of course. Somehow with the humidity up to 65% they got shrink wrapped. So I jacked up the humidity up this time in hopes I would get more live chicks and it seems to be working so far. I normally keep humidity at around 45% during incubation and 50 - 55% in lock down.
