Just curious if anyone would be interested in swapping crocheted items for some Black Tailed White Japanese bantam eggs? Or large fowl Cochins or light Brahma eggs? Just feeling this out. If there is interest, I will make a page of items I have.

Even Facebook is dead. It must be the heat and winter approaching. I know I WANT to hatch more but won't. Last winter was a cold and brutal one so babies ended up in my basement a the entire winter (normally they go out once fully feathered and put some meat on their bones). I won't do that again so this year I'm simply not hatching anything sept through feb

Are you able to make the crocheted Eared fly bonnets that have the fringe in the face for mini horses? I have been looking for some for my minis and the commercial ones that will fit the minis just fall short in the looks category. I have seen some amazing ones for full sized horses. Like this one for a draft horse:

I didn't go to Facebook, I have just been lurking. I still owe 2 shipments of daffidils and a shipment of wool so I haven't been claiming anything until I settle up. It has just been so hot and my allergies have been acting up that I haven't drug myself outside to dig up the daffadils. I sent one shipment of spindle and wool off a week and a half ago. Haven't heard directly from them but the tracking number says it was delivered. I will put together the next shipment as soon as I can. I still owe at least 2 orders of eggs. One hen has started to lay again. The other has a week old chick and the third hen has disapeared a week ago. Maybe she has a secret nest or maybe a hawk got her. I just don't know.

I have a pattern for a fly bonnet but it's for a full size horse. If I had a mini horse to keep measuring against, I could make one but sorry, I don't have a mini nor a pattern for one. If you happened to have a pattern for a mini, then yes, I certainly could.

F.Y.I for anyone in the fenelon falls (ontario canada) area !! The fur n feather club trail gate sale was AWESOME!!!! People from Ottawa and napanee showed up, so the bloodlines and deletion was great!!! Was just going to browse and now 4 new chicks, 2 jersey giants and a Orpington now have been added to the family. 20 hens now!!! Coop renoes are underway.
