haha if it makes you feel better it is for my mom. She is a horse addict, we had horses about 6 years ago, my stepdad died in a car accident and we had to move, so we had to get rid of them and she misses her crazy pasafino mare so she still collects horses.

I have my hands full ya'll I got two piggies this morning and two japanese longtail bantams this afternoon! I am well over 100 on the bird count now... I just know it....

I love piggies! Are they pets or food? We have ours that are ready to go in next week. I'll miss them. Once we get some money to get good-quality pigs, I'd like to get 1-2 sows for breeding. They are funny funny animals! I hate taking them in, but as we tell the kids, they're fulfilling their destinies.

yeah we butcher our own but right now they are only about 1.5lbs each lol I am weaning them on grits lol. They are future food, but for now they are pets and I named the penelope and petunia lol I am not positive since I havent had time t look but I think they are yokohamas

ETA: well I tried lookin em up but I dont remember exactly what they look like LOL I had to go take a nap as soon as my mom left, I hadnt slept last night and had to go in fr night shift tonight.... so now I am on night shift on 6 hours of sleep.... gah.... then back to work again tomorrow at 4pm....

Anyways, I will get pictures of them tomorrow and put them up in the correct section. I think that the hen is a red shouldered yokohama though and I thought at first glance that the male was too but I dont know what color if he is and I also think he might possibly be a phoenix.... yawnnnnn

I have looked over hundreds of photoes so everyone could see the peonies and not one pic of them open.Mabey next spring I will find out what kind I have.
Found the lilac one.

That was one taken/transplanted from my huge one out back.


This house was built I belive in 1910 so no telling what kind of peonies I have.

I love peonies! You know when you split the peonies, sometimes the divisions grow into a different color? My MIL dug up red peonies at her mom's house. When hers bloomed, they were white with red flecks. She divided them again, and they grew back white! Same thing happened to my mom. She was given pink peonies and when they bloomed, they bloomed pink!

I love the lilacs, too. DH ripped mine up.

I had asked him to rip out the forsythias, and somehow he got the huge unruly shrubs in the front of the yard, confused with the small shrub in the back! He also destroyed my beautiful purple butterfly bush, but apparently they are hard to kill -thank goodness!! So, it grew back. Unfortunately, the lilac didn't.

Well our butterfly bush finally had it this year, but I WANT THOSE PEONIES! If you want to do a side trade holler at me! lol. Peonies are my favorite flower. I love them, they are big and beautiful. I dont care what color they are!
