I got mr saddi a flask for father's day (which sounds odd, I swear the kids don't drive him to drink, it just looked cool) I'm an utter featherweight, i usually can only have a shotglass' worth of beer or wine before fully buzzed, so a thimball sized flask would work.

maybe you could just get one of those beer helmets and put a bottle in each slot....now i'm picturing it with wine boxes....now those giant jugs of wine...

whats this migraine treatment you speak of meepitqueenie? We're battling mine on all fronts. Last year was the worst in a long time for me and I nearly lost my job. These last few months are OK, but I am sitting hear with a "light" head ache.

saddina - sorry to hear about your insurance problems.

I know what you all are going through. I've had migraines off and on for a few years. The last couple of weeks I've had them to some degree almost every day. I had one about a week ago that I had to go to ER for to get a shot. It was the worst ever. I havent been to the doc cause I too dont have insurance. I will in 3 months though do to my new job. Can't wait. Praying for the rest of you!

while i'm not at all cured.... i had to travel down state to get tested... but i also have irlen syndrome and the colored lenses calms the eyes and the brain and i no longer have the pain.
doesn't mean that at times my left eye pain doesn't start coming back or the light and sound sensitivity but i do feel as close to my old self again. and no I dont' have dyslexia, though the lenses have helped many who have that problem.

i still have snowy vision- neurologist never had a case like mine so could not help. then she moved to a different state and now we dont have a neuorolgist up here.

but the lenses calm the snow down so i can see better

this is pretty close to what i see all the time even if i close my eyes.

if you already have glasses then you wont have to buy frames and lenses. they can tint yours for less money.

i didn't have the snowy vision before that one bad period of time with the 6-9month straight migrane.

they were origionally looking for a tumor or MS. didn't find either but MS doesn't always show up on the MRI

We have never been able to pinpoint any triggers except for thunderstorms. Dunno what it is about them, barometric pressure change, electricity in the air, whatever, but I can tell when one is coming usually 2-4 hours before it hits.
