Lori,
Little Red Rooster is probably closer to a small Hosta. Dragon Tails is a Mini. I didn't even send you the smallest I have. It is Itsy Bitsy Spider. For what you were doing it is too small, I think. Mine is 1-2 inches tall and 3 inches across right now. I might be able to divide it next year. I'm glad you like them.

I hoped you guys would dig that puppet! If I had kids around I would be using it all the time lol.

Folkmanis makes a ton of puppets. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=bl_sr_t...8&node=165793011&field-brandtextbin=Folkmanis This is their amazon page. I LOVE the ferret and of course the little hen!

Button quail aren't for everyone. They should be kept in separate cages( not wire bottoms) for each Male/female pair. They do NOT do well in trios or quads.

They stress easily. They do not like to be handled. They do not do well in temps under 50 degrees or so. They end up about small wren size and lay eggs daily for many months of the year.

Eggs are useful if you have small reptiles that need/eat eggs. I use them to feed back to my Serama and even my dogs when I have extra. Eggs are dime size, small but tasty.

Here are a couple of websites with the best information.

Since my hatch wasn't going well I hatched out this one this morning. So what do you think, pullet or roo?
