pdsavage - I only have one hen that lays those nice big green eggs and she is laying but only every other day and sometimes not where she is supposed to. I will side swap with you if you don't mind not getting all green eggs or just fewer and it would take a few days to collect. Did any of the green ones that I sent develop?

this is kinda silly but thought i would ask...

does any one have kool-aid or flavor-aid packets they may want to swap with me.... these are without sugar

i have a bunch of cherry and some fruit punch packets and like none of my family drinks them

so i was thinking if anyone liked these flavors and disliked a different flavor we could swap....

They are in the incubator already... I was hearing peeping and checked had 6 pips in the turner on eggs due to lock down today

Rushed them to the hatcher and 1 is out already.

Anyone else have eggs hatching super early like day 19-20. I wonder if they start incubating in transit, due to the extreme heat, this is 3 or 4 time this has happen in a row.

Anyway...since I was messing around in there, I candled, have only 1 Barndevelder developing, the rest are scrambled. I candled the Orps and their air sacks look good.

I got some eggs from another BYCer last Sat. all are scrambled, 1 was a stinker already

to the rough ride. You win some you loose some.

The only eggs I had hatch early were a few Guinea from my pair. Since they weren't shipped and the others on that hatch day hatched at their normal time I'm assuming I had a hot spot in the incubator. I've heard if the temp is a little high they will hatch early.

I have a Dickey 3x1, temps "says" 99.6. Very possible to have hot spots etc... I never spot check it.
