Just to make things clear, are we supposed to be shipping Priority Mail? That's what I've been doing since it was posted on the first post of the swap thread. All of the packages I've gotten have been shipped another method. If I can ship cheaper, then that's what I'll do. BUT, I want to make sure I follow directions.

As a rule of thumb offers must be equal to the value of 6 pure breed eggs – Examples: 4-6 iris bulbs, 6 blackberry starts, and 1 16oz jar of plum jam, 1 hard bound book or 2 couple of paperback books, 2 bars of homemade soap, 2-3 chicken saddles. These are just examples and only to be used as a guideline. Please offer what you feel is a likewise offer and that can be shipped in one of the priority boxes. Remember you are paying the shipping of the item you offer.​

I believe just the eggs had to be shipped priority, other things could be shipped other ways as long as they had Delivery Confirmation.

I was also under the assumption that packages have to be shipped priority. I do, but I mostly ship eggs, so they need to go priority anyway

It really does not bother me if I get something shipped regular usps but I do think the DC# are a must.


And I have a list of people I owe eggs to. I am shipping them out as fast as the hens lay, in order of swaps. I will not be offering eggs until I can get caught up.

I am needing to move my birds to a different chicken house and I am holding off. I KNOW that as soon as I move them 100 feet away......they will quit laying.

Yoda, I dont think missred was meaning anything negative about you. She said she knew you were shipping. I was the one who made comments about not getting my stuff. I went back and changed it though so I dont offend anyone. Please don't think anyone meant you were a deadbeat.

I just havent heard anything from one of my swap partners and wonder what happened. NOt saying they are a dead beat either. I have never heard anything negative regarding you. We know you are shipping your items. I am usually a bit late shipping mine so I wouldnt have commented on someone if it hadnt been a really long time with no contact at all. Sorry if I made you think that's what missred meant in her post.

Items that are perishable must be shipped priority with confirmation number. Nonperishable may be shipped other ways with confirmation number.

Only eggs and time sensative materials need to be sent priority mail. Everything else can be shipped any other way with a tracking #.
