Keep the beetles in a plastic bin with bran and apples for moisture, you will get more mealworms!

[Stuck in the Coop]

I discovered my affection for my birds, is less than my disgust over worms/bettles. Sorry, I won't be trading for any creepy crawlies heehee

I dumped the whole bag into a plastic shoebox size container. I used a plastic fork to scrape the clinging worms from the bag, I had to turn the bag inside out. All the time doing the gross dance.

When my kids get home I will happily let them separate worms, beetles & pupa into separate containers. I will buy one of the plastic 3 draw things and use that set up. Yup... I have been reading up on the mealworm farming thread.

NOW...where to put them......... I am thinking my sons bedroom
