I made 4 pecan pies tonight. My second one broke out the shell and spilled all in the pan under the pie then down in my oven.

What a mess.

I had to turn off the oven, let it cool and clean the mess up before I could cook the other 2 pies. But all done now.
FINALLY!!

And one of them is nearly gone already. Those sure are some good pecans reesepoultry. Your gonna love'em.

All my buff orp chicks are gone, I assumed hawk, but today I found out what really happened. So while I was at my sisters building a new coop, I turned around and there is my sister's dog with a huge chunk of my barred rock chick that when missing a week and a half ago....

Oh if I was a little more spry and if that dog was a hair slower....

Oh no! I am so sorry about your chicks that stinks. Dogs are the worst chicken killers around. Of course, I now know how to deal with them. Do you feel lucky, PUNK?

No one cares more about your birds than you do. I hate to leave my birds in the care of someone else, even if for a a couple days.
