If I would borrow an incubator what do I do? Do I need to get it and set it up and check it for a while first and how long? She has not used it in about 2 years but it did work for her then. I know this is nuts, but I really want to hatch some eggs LOL.......can we spell addiction....

I see nothing wrong with this, mwah ha ha!!! You might want to look up some threads on incubation, theres a general guide on the main BYC page just expect about 50% hatch rate on mailed eggs. Sonew has some up right now.... I'm having to break my fingers to keep from claiming them. Although...if I put stuff in the bator next saturday i'll have little chicks hatch for my birthday! oh, someone help me, is there some sort of rehab I can go to?

My goats generally have twins, but a couple times a year we generally end up with triplets! I have had goats feed their own triplets, though I generally expect to give supplemental bottles if they have that many. I have heard of quads, but never had that many born from one doe. Nina still has not kidded, I was thinking Christmas babies, then maybe birthday gifts to me ,then New Years babies.... Still waiting, she had triplets last time:)

Seems like all the packages arrived at once and I have tried to send PM's to let everyone know they arrived safe and sound. Can you believe not a single cracked egg in the bunch.. a new record for the postal service.

My eggs from emvickrey, and aceschix had a pretty good hatch. My poor eggs from reece didn't fare so well, and out of all the detached airsacked eggs, only 3 developed but didn't hatch.. I think the POs between us are a lil rough..

Aces- I know with the Wyandotte eggs I got from you I had a chance of the Ameracauna Roo, or Australorp hens mixed in- can you help identify these chicks? There's at least 6 that look like this.. or are they full Wyandotte? Wasn't sure with the dark beak and legs, but have a rose comb, and no muffiness..
