Reece - well....not looking good but I'm early to candle and darker eggs always give me fits of doubt. Hoping to find better news in a couple days

Thanks all for the kind words about my cockerel. He is struggling so much, can't seem to find his balance on only one leg so lays down all the time which is what breaks my heart.

Here are my latest. 5 EE's and 4 OE's from HenThymes, and 3 of our own BR. I'll try to get better pictures tomorrow as the batteries in my camera are dead, along with my EcoGlow20.

My DH had to make a quick trip to the store tonight for a heat lamp.

Everybody has babies hatching but me.

I have some 2 week old chicks but I need more.
Incubators running I guess I should fill it up again.

Nope havent hatched since july! Top that one...been using broodies all though my oldest are almost 4 months old now

I unplugged the incubator on 1/22.... still off! So proud of myself!! I was able to sell a dozen Golden Laced Cochin eggs at a swap yesterday. They had been calling to me.... incubate me.... incubate mee...e....e.eeeeeeeeee.......

But, I resisted. I am the master of my incubator!!! LOL Holding out until March 6th!

Although, the coopbuilder extraordinaire wants some GLCs.....

This is about the longest my incubators have been empty. I am going to be setting some Lavender Araucana eggs next. They have been laying for a while now but I haven't check their fertility so I am

Girl don't make me send you some eggs I have coming in the mail. You need to be on baby chick alert all night long like the rest of us poor souls with no sleep

I'm just kidding, but you do need some eggs. Little baby chicks can make a bad day, amazing.

I haven't hatched any chicks since September, but I did hatch some quail in November. Out of the 7 quail I believe I have 5 male and 2 females. Ugh

One of the males, I'm not sure of though. I hope to start the incubator back up in mid-Feb. to March if its warm enough for eggs to be shipped here. Before I add more chicks, I need to find homes for a couple of my cockerals that I hatched in August and September. Craigslist has only yielded a home for one.
