LOL you need to breed the opposite color to what you want!

I found a lady in KC who is going to take my blind silkie cockerel. I'm so happy to rehome and not have to cull him. She has a small mixed flock and will be able to spoil him as he needs. I hope her pullets let him breed - he wants to so bad

I will be moving the sizzle hens in with my buff laced Polish rooster. That SHOULD produce white...according to the genetics calculator. I am sure I will get funky colors.

Sold all my Gold Laced, red and white crested black Polish yesterday . So left myself with a trio of Silver laced & a pair of buff laced with a white hen in there. Also have a bunch of blues growing out, some have started laying. Not even sure who is a roo, only one I am sure of.

But I do have 2 black sizzled hens in there with him. One hen is NN, can't wait see what I get.

I have Gold Laced and Buff Polish in the 'bator. Every single one developing and a single white crested black in the brooder. Are all Polish feisty? That little, week old bugger will peck at me when I reach in there to pick him up! The Silkies in with him are so docile and slow compared to his crazy antics.

WOW! I had a lot of pages to catch up on!

I haven't been on since early Saturday morning. We met KYTinpusher at IKEA on Saturday (and I got a few new items for my swap page too!), and we really enjoyed it! I absolutely LOVE the fondue pot! Can't wait to use it!

We also stopped at the outlets on the way home and I found some great deals for my children (The Children's Place socks for .80 a pair)!

Thanks for the compliments on the rooster pitcher. I'd swap it for a dozen Showgirl hatching eggs in any color other than white, or a dozen Marans hatching eggs (no preference on color), or what I am seeking the hardest WHITE, BLACK OR BROWN INDIAN RUNNER HATCHING EGGS as I'd like to add some new blood to my flock. I might would even throw in something else depending on how many eggs a person is willing to send.

I also have a dozen BB Red OEGB hatching eggs to swap. Ready to be packaged and shipped tomorrow if anyone is interested. What you got to swap for them?
