I am on a painting mission. Here is the question....
3 walls 1 with large window 2 solid.
Want to paint 2 solid walls maroon on bottom and cream on top with boarder * old world maps* to cover line
want to paint wall with window a dark tan.
this is the boarder. What you all think. I have 6 hours to do this so I have to decide now LOL

Love it! My DH would absolutely go for the map idea. He wants me to paper a room in just maps!

I haven't been on much this week, due to a quick trip this weekend to PA. My Mom's brother died Sunday morning as he was getting ready for church. He was 59. They are sure it was a heart attack-it was extremely sudden. He felt fine when he woke up, but just like that he is gone. It was a huge surprise. His funeral is on Friday, so we are leaving Thursday morning and won't be back until Monday.

Pauletta - Sorry to hear about the dog problem. I know how you feel. Last year it cost me about $200 extra in cat food when my neighbors got two new puppies. But when loose dogs started chasing the other neighbors cattle, the dog warden came around to investigate. She was none too happy when my DH told her I chased them off with a nerf bat! Shortly thereafter, they disappeared. We figured either they thought it better to rehome them, or the cattleman took care of them. Either way, it is a darn shame when dog owners think so little of their pets and their neighbors that they let the dogs roam.

BYW, did you get a good hatch rate on that last batch of eggs? I can send more if I do it fairly quickly. My roo has threatened me for the last time and I don't know yet if his 22-week-old sons are up to the job yet!

Well so far I have not seen one dog besides mine one. @Anderson and crossgirl, Florida is not far from me. I can be there in 2 days! Keep it cold for me! Bahahaa We should have a BYC meet up. Got everything mailed out a yesterday. I'm sorry for running a few days behind. Just so crazy with family in for the weekend and the Benton swap, etc. Everything is back to normal (as well as normal is here.) Put 23 chicks out in the coop with a lamp. Have 42 more than need another week in the Bathroom brooder. Hoping to have 20 more chicks by Wednesday hatch. A little of everything. Some I am hatching for the swap meet. My FBCM have started to lay again.

Now I just need to keep the roo out of the nesting box. Maybe he thinks is going broody LOL. Man he's big! Baby Jersey Giants and Gigantic Baby Barred rocks are doing great. Whew... And my baby polish are running around like little road runners. Just too funny. My BLRW are opposite, they just mosey. Not a care in the world.

AM going to update my swap page with goodies I bought at the flea markets my sister and I went to over the weekend. Found some cute stuff. Give me a hour. Just feed and water the chickens and chicks and I need a cup of coffee.

Fishing one is mine, the bottom is just paint stripes done with very small sponges LOL

I got a new mouse for my computer, and got two extras (one was an "oops" purchase-I like the wireless mouse, and this one has a cord). I will be putting this one on my swap page-it is so cute and works great! It is also very light (and it lights up, too)!!

@ KYtinpusher - I got three. But I understand about shipped eggs. I'm not blaming you at all. I would love to swap you for some eggs some time. I do have a premium trade on my swap page at the bottom if your interested. JLMK (Just let me know) I would love to try those eggs again.

You know I love all animals but those dogs were driving me nuts. When I breakdown a few times a year and wash 14 motorcycles, 1 car and 1 truck and a dog comes into my garage to pee on them I get HOT. I shouldn't but it's a lot of work. These are antique show bikes and the detailing takes more work than a newer bike. I guess it's more than just the work involved, it's the fact she told me there was nothing she could or would do about it. I would just have to learn to close my doors.

I am a pretty nice mellow gal and I try very hard to keep it that way. I bit my lip several times a day and smile. But I think she went o ut of her way to be snooty, and ugly to me. So I let the police handle it. I had the same problems with dog feed last year. Her dogs would come over and eat all of my dogs food. So I moved Sissy food into my bar/breeze way. I don't know how to describe it. I will have to take pics. But if the door was open so sissy could come and go they would come in eat and pee.

Dogs do what dogs do, but you would think they would want to be good neighbors and said I promise to take care of the situation and I am sorry. That is far from the response I got. It's easy to be nice, but you have to work hard at being bad. IMO. It makes me appreciate all the nice people on BYC soooo much.

For some reason when you said your DH wants to paper a room in maps it reminded me of what DH keeps threatening to do. He says he's gonna build an outhouse and for wallpaper he's gonna staple loosing lottery and scratch off tickets on the walls. I never bring it up so he won't do it.
