I feel like crap today. darn pollen!!!! In an effort to get all this off my mind hubbie and I started a project. In about 20 minutes.... we built our own incubator. It WORKS TOO! Well it holds temp and humidity. I am going to set some of my eggs, tomorrow, to test it out with.

Materials list:
Clear rubbermaid tote (one of the ones my swapping has cleaned out for me )
Computer Fan from an old Dell Computer
Two cords with sockets from old light up yard display things
One thermometer w/ humidity gage
Sponge
Small shallow tray
Shelf liner
Hot water heater thermostat (it was called universal, but it did not go in our hotwater heater)
Rubber door frame winterizing stuff ( to seal the tote lid)

Just as fat and sassy as can be! We love them. My son was so happy when I brought them in. They sure are heavy! Big boned?

silkiemom/Paris: two RIRs from the first batch hatched! so cute.

doubleatraining: 1 BSL and both green/blue eggs hatched. so cute. No spot on the BSL head so I gotta pullet. Right?

farmerChef: a bunch of yours hatched again. I think we have a good postal route between us, wish they were all that way, huh?

No spot on the head of the BSL is a pullet.

And I agree...farmerchef has a excellent packaging & postal route, I have hatched 3 x and always have awesome hatches.
