hey all...hope I'm posting this in the right place

I was wondering about how the swap works as far as value for items, I mean, I know eggs for eggs and what not, but what about other stuff on your swap page? I mean, do you just work it out with whoever wants the item as far as what you'll accept for it? For example, I have some vintage wine glasses, books and some other stuff I want to put up for swap, but I don't know what I should swap for them as far as getting equal value. Does that make sense? Also, what if someone calls 'mine' on one of your swaps, but you don't see anything on their swap page that you are interested in and vice versa? What do we do??

Can somebody give some of their experiences or advice for figuring this out, cuz I have LOTS of stuff I want to add to the swap page I made but I don't know what to accept for a swap??

Its always confusing for new swap people..sorry...just make your swap page first....if you see something you want from the very last person who posted their items...say mine...you cant claim anyone elses things ( all though you are allowed to contact anyone privately to do side swaps) When you post MINE...then you list your items up for grabs...someone else pipes in and says mine...your not trading with the person from who you claimed something from yes? Go back and read the very first post again...it will click..eventually...hahaha took me a few times too....

This is Gracie's 2nd hatch. These hatched May 5th and 6th. In an effort to honor their Derby Day arrival they are Rose, Darby, and Jules (because julep is a stupid name). The EE and the dark one are were Beth's eggs. My little BTWJ Holly is covering 7 more of Beth's eggs plus a LF egg and my sizzle Bonnie Bedelia has 8. I won eggs from oldfort_mailman in the Rocky Mtn. Raffle. It's crazy, I don't win anything but I now have these fabulous eggs. Langshan, lavendar Orps and a Lt. Sussex. He was going to send 15 but here's me with no incubator!!

Aww all those pictures of the baby chickies made me go all fuzzy inside! I am getting my first pullets this week!

(i have no incubator) but I did want to wish a very happy mothers day to all the chicken moms and human moms out there!!!! Blessed be!
