WOW today is a big day . Babies are hatching. I got my new brinsea mini eco . and I got a dozen cuckoo maran eggs ( one broke but thats ok cause I was only sapose to get like 7-8 ) . And I got my sweedish flower hen eggs all of them made it intact. Now I just have to get these chuckars to finish hatching so I can sanatize the incubator for the eggs I go today.
These guys are very cute and a right menace at the word go.
I really need to find room
whooot new incubator .. think I can fit 35 quail eggs in there?

You can do side swaps..... and it gives you plenty of time to add to your swap page.

Don't feel too bad... we have all been there.... and waiting is hard. Soon you will be swap crazy... just like the rest of us.

Depending on how old the roots are, it will probably be 2-3 years before you should harvest any spears, to let them get established. When you do start to harvest, you can harvest anything bigger around than your pinkie finger for one week. The next year, harvest for two weeks. The next year, three weeks, and so on.

I bought them at the store, and was going to plant them, but now with the divorse and selling my house, I am not going to bother.
It will take 1-2 years to get asparagus to eat from it.
