I saw on the news about the terrible storms that went through several areas yesterday. Glad no one was hurt and hopefully some of the wood can still be sold. That old barn wood is a wanted items these days.Well we didn't get out of the storms as well as we thought, dh went out to the farm in the afternoon to find one of the barns "exploded" into the soybean and wheat fields. Luckily no one got hurt and the wheat was just harvested last week. We will have to pick up tons of rubble from the fields.![]()
We were just negotiating the sale of the wood in that barn since it was all hand hewn and built in the 1800's. I had big chicken plans for some of that money.hopefully some of the wood will be salvageable and luckily it went into the field and not the road or the 2 houses across the street.![]()
