I have a question. I am having coon issues and it has killed 6 of my 10 babies. That being said, 2 of the 4 that are * alive* have medical issues. One has one wing missing with some exposed bone and the other has head trama and 1 eye missing and 1 wing is severley damaged and hanging off. They are eating and drinking as best as I can see and they are walking around. Now the question.....when *if* they get big enough to go in the big girl pen what do I do? Can they live with the others? My oldest hens do bully my youngest so I am worried. Or should I just cull them now incase they are in pain?
Final update on the 2 babies that I was trying to save, none made it.

I'm so sorry Kim. I found a possum in my coop last week. She only got 1 hen and 1 pullet. So far I've trapped 2 of her babies. They are about the size of a guinea pig. I'm sure there are a bunch more to get. Just step up security.

Corancher - Just wanted to say congratulations on the 1st year anniversary of the What Ya Got Swap. Okay the congratulations are a little late, since you started it June 25th. But just wanted to say thanks for a great idea and keeping up with it!

Just out of curiousity I went back to check when my 1st swap was - June 30th and there are still quite a few others swapping that started back then too. Jim, Michelle, Marie, Caroline, Shelly (I'm sure I'm missing some) - just to name a few. It's been a great year and I think, for the most part, it has been going very smoothly.

Still loving it! Thanks again Corancher for being the mediator, mentor, friend... for this swap!
