I have seen alot of little things on most peoples swap pages and I assume this is for easy shipping,,,,,but I have a shelf of holiday cookie jars that are still in their boxes, and also planters full of those plants they call hen and chicks that need to be seperated, if I put these items on my page how would I go about safely shipping them,,,,,jars could break and plants could dry out...of course I thought the same about eggs at first.

I saw that ad on facebook. I am anti hunting when it is a simple matter of people going out getting drunk and shooting anything that moves just so they can kill stuff. When it comes to provideing meat or money for your family I have no issue with it. Those animals have better lifes and more humane deaths then 95% Of what you buy at the store where they are kept in tiny filthy condetions and pumped full of drugs then dragged off to sluaghter were there lucky if there killed quickly . Hunting in my opnion is more humane . I just disagree with people that do it purely for the thrill of killing something. Just my two cents.

wingstone,

Check out post 11010 on the page linked below on how I ship daylily plants.........

Hens and chicks are succulents and will be okay with out moisture for quite a while if you water them good a day or two before you remove them from a por or dig them from the garden.
Now for the breakable cookie jars..........

Good Luck with that...........

Reese, I'm sorry about your cat and the run of bad luck you're having. I can't keep outdoor cats here cause they just don't last. You were fortunate to have him in your life for so long. I have an 11 year old cat. It's the longest I've ever kept one! {{huggs}}

Farmerchef, that is a really nice shirt!!!
