Ok ya'll... I lucked out at the chicken auction today and bought a cream brabanter roo for $4.00

I know I saw somebody recently post some pics of cream brabanters, that they had just purchased... I need to hatch out some hens for my roo... soo who has eggs? I would love to swap for them.. so whoever it was... if you want to swap with me... it would definately be greatly appreciated and It would make me very happy!

But until I get him some lovely brabanter hens... I might sneak him an ameraucana hen and make some funky chickens that lay colored eggs.

I think it is anderson8505 that you might be talking about. She was going to be doing some test eggs to make sure things are working right

Ok I just updated my swap page and my bator only has 147 eggs in it, so it's looking bare. Anyone have any eggs they want to swap for stuff. Everything I put in is new with tags thelippers come in packages of 2 pairs S M L

Just had to show off the cuties I hatched from farmerchef - 2 EEs (light chipmunk and white), 1 JG (the smallest right now) and 1 Wheaton Ameracauna roo/Blue-Laced Red Wyandotte mix (darker chipmunk)


One of my DD(who isn't normally in love with the chickens) absolutely loves the light chipmunk striped EE. She named it "L" - not "Elle". She's says its named after some awesome person in a show (her words). My hubby likes the white one because he says he's tired of seeing all dark chicks around here. I guess I hadn't realized that lots of the chicks I've hatched this year have been dark.

I have a rainbow assortment of 12 chicks hatched by a mixed banty momma I picked up at Mt Hope. I wanted Momma & all the babies came with her. They are adorable tho. Popped them in the brooder & Momma in the coop so she can get to work making MORE pretty babies...LOL
