We also make Goat's Milk soaps from milk from our girls. Just throwing that out there.

See our soaps here.

Flo says, hi!

Also, we had our last litter of Great Pyrenees puppies here on our farm. We had an acquaintance nearby that wants to use our male GP for their farm since they have an increase in coyotes and their female "brings them into the yard." Probably because she's in heat?

But anyways, we are retaining one of the puppies (a female) and we need a transportation type name for her. Her daddy's name was Trolley and her mama's name is Piper (a type of airplane). Any thoughts? I was leaning towards something airplane related, but anything dealing with transportation will work to go along with the name theme from daddy and mama.

Ya, I think I will tell people next year I will take the roos back. I will just look at the ones who say they want me to pay them for them without saying anything.

but processing here for a Roo is 5 bucks a pop, ugg. I'm waiting for DH to try it before I volunteer to take a whole bunch back. I know someone selling a plucker, but I KNOW I'm not going to be able to do it myself, I'm a wuss.

I just frustraited because I have in EVERY single add that I don't know the sex, and it does not make an impact on people. Dont call it Silly valley for nothing!

I know with the boxes right. If I am going to buy any animals I will bring an extra box or 10 just in case,

. You never know what else they might have that you need. DH has gotten to the point he just grabs 2 more boxes and stuffs them in the trunk whenever we are going to pick anything up.

I guess he figures if you can't beat them join them.
I am lucky I have a friend who takes all my extra Roos so I tell my customers to buy 2x as many chicks as they want hens and just bring me back the Roos. I have yet had anyone bring a roo back.

I got a box of barred rock at auction last week, today was the first chance I had to really look them over good, 5 of them have gold coming in on the feathers are they not barred rock, (I am really bad at identifying breeds). This was the best pic I could get with 60 chicks running around this room.
