See our soaps here.

Flo says, hi!

Also, we had our last litter of Great Pyrenees puppies here on our farm. We had an acquaintance nearby that wants to use our male GP for their farm since they have an increase in coyotes and their female "brings them into the yard." Probably because she's in heat?

But anyways, we are retaining one of the puppies (a female) and we need a transportation type name for her. Her daddy's name was Trolley and her mama's name is Piper (a type of airplane). Any thoughts? I was leaning towards something airplane related, but anything dealing with transportation will work to go along with the name theme from daddy and mama.
Call her Caboose

Ok you guys I have been reading chicken books from my public libary and while some of the info and some of the books are just so so I have run across some good stuff. So just wanted to tell you if you have a chance to read try Storey's guide to raiseing chickens by gail damerow ( she has a seciton in there about composting bedding in the chicken coops that is truely facinatieing)
And I just started reading a book called City chicks by Patricia Foreman and so far its a fun read with good info and any of you garden buffs should read it as well she has some really intersting facts and ideas in there on how to use chickens as garden laborors =P so not only would your chickens be laying eggs to sale and eat and provideing meat they can allso creat compost and top soil , till your garden beds , help control bugs and weeds ect.

Mine weed eat my garden a little bit already. I put sevens dust on my plants and I see the guineas, chickens and Scovies in there all the time eating the weeds. They don't touch my plants as long as I have the seven dust on. Also they poo in the garden while they are eating so fertilizer too.

Jake is frizzled roo throwing the chocolates. Stanley has a frizzled hen and a booted hen. Nelson or N is the silkie pen. I'll save those eggs for you before we meet.

I sprinkle it on them too, but never tried feeding it to them although it's supposed to help with parasites. I have given cayenne pepper for worms and they don't mind that one bit.
