Cute babies!! I have a couple of cuckoo's growing out myself from my cuckoo roo (who has since been sold) I have a regular cuckoo and a blue cuckoo, they are so beautiful, I love their coloring.

Cause of the spread is from hatchery in Idaho... I wonder which one? Dunlap? I almost placed an order with them last week... glad I didn't!

Is the hatchery the cause, though? Not trying to cause an argument or anything, just wondering what you all thought. I make sure to wash my hands thoroughly after handling chickens or anything chicken related and make sure my kids do, too. Is that enough? Is it possible to contract salmonella even after taking precautions?
