Ok so where is everyone? I just started a course of prednisone and that stuff keeps me up all night!!

DH put me on a 90 day chicken buying ban

Of course he didn't say anything about swapping, hatching or the auction I am winning or the chickens I am picking up next month.

So I guess besides all that no chickens.

Sounds like the conversations I have with my DH!! I picked up a black bantam cochin pullet today, and the gal I got her from also gave me 2 younger chicks.. DH was like, "figures, I should have known we couldnt get out of there with just one chicken!" lol

I keep forgetting to get on here and say THANKS to NSampsel.. I got the lip liner a couple days ago... it's perfect, thanks!!!

I am loving this thread... will get my swap page up after school starts and the weather cools a bit... too many things to do outside right now, and kiddos wanting to do stuff...

But I did sell 30 chickens yesterday to a family that drove by and saw my sign. Maybe 6-7 were hens....the rest were roosters (soup, I suppose)

Feels good...I'd like to sell 20-30 more Quads, pairs etc.... need room for the new breeds in the grow out.

Well my daughter rated me out yesterday about the birds I picked up a few days ago. I can't wait until school starts on Wed. then I don't have to worry about taking the kids with me to pick things up so there is no more telling on me.

Does anybody on here have any Feather Leg Marans available. They can be chicks or a trio. I am looking for either Cuckoo or Black. They can be Standard or Bantam.

We can swap or I can pay as long as it isn't too much money as I am kinda broke at the moment. I can swap things like Chicken Saddles, Soaps, Baked Goods, Eggs when they lay or even Chicks. Or stuff that is on my swap page.
