I would love to see pictures! I really really want silkies. I would have done them this hatch but I was already getting my eggs from three different sources and didn't want to push my luck with a fourth lol. I did get sizzles though!
Does anyone on byc have silkie ducks? My guess is if there is they are not cheap though huh?

Thnk there may be 1 or 2 people, IDK who though, i think i remember seeing an ad for eggs last year.

They arent poofy like silkie chickens.

Holderreads adult birds are actually not badly priced at all... I think I know what dh can get me for Xmas!
Would any of you be interested in silkie duck eggs for the swap?

So far 2 of my 5 ducks are male so now I am jonesing for more ducks. Plus I want silkies so this would just be a win win.

OK...hafta downsi2e my layer flock ASAP due to incoming Cochins & Silkies. Anyone interested in some layer hens...all under a year & a half as far as I can tell. (I didn't hatch them but know approximate hatch dates for some.) I can ship!!! PM me if interested

Hmmm. Does anyone have feed bags (preferably 100lb bags, but 50lbs ok as well) for trade? I have some soaps and such to trade. The BF threw away all of my bags when he cleaned out the coop, and now it's harvest season and I have nothing to buy locally grown grains to put them in!

I have lots of 40# bags

All the silkies except the porcelain pullet are from Bobbi Porto's stock. The porcelain pullet (Peanut Butter) was hatched here from an egg from little ameracauna mom. Congratulations to the both of you also.

I have 50# bags that arnt pretty, but if you are useing them and not making bags out of them they would work. PM me if you want me to go count them.

oh thank god. i had a nightmare about my drowned silkies turned into ducks last night after this convo.
