I like the 3 swaps per week limit, however, make any swap that stalls for eight or ten ours open to anybody, including those who have already done their three swaps for the week. This would slow the regulars down just enough to give people with limited internet access a chance to claim if they want to.

Oh, I love this and it could really shake things up.

Check the Marans threads. I'm sure someone there could tell you. I think it is one of the clubs or assoc.

Another thought that I just bought (they're in the mail) is an Online Auction Color Chart. Can be used for all color eggs, Would just need to match up egg color charts to the big chart. I bought 3 - 2 will go on my swap page.

I REALLY need to make a good search of the house and get some pics up on my swap page, otherwise I will have to go into lurking mode until spring. (that would be tragic!!)

We've had a good cold snap and I can tell the ground is freezing... (with light snow the past couple of days) Good thing I got those starts sent out to you KYT... they probably would be stuck there if I tried now!!!

I would love to have some of those alfalfa/clover seeds TD has for sprouting over the winter... I need an action plan STAT!!

I'm not sure how the clover and alfalfa does in Florida. That's a good question... I know they have a high protein content which I why I plant them in our runs, but the seeds I have were originally grown in Canada.

So how does that color chart work for eggs?? Does it have number ratings on it, or do you need to convert it with an egg chart?
