I can also offer 2 of my star lanterns. I always use LED candles in them. You can use regular tealights but I wouldn't leave them unsupervised as they're made out of paper! I have TONS of paper so if you'd like a particular color or holiday just pm me.

Karlamaria.. check out page 1 for the rules... but the long and short of it is:

we are limited to taking 3 offers each week.. new week starts on Sunday.

If you like something from the current offer.. you have to claim it (say MINE) before anyone else and then post offers of your own to be claimed by others.

you only pay the postage for the offers you send out.

Page 1 has the rules but a short summary.
If you want something in the most recent offer you post "Mine" then your offer. Your offer should be the value of 6 purebred eggs. The sender pays shipping. When somebody accepts your offer, you pay shipping with a confirmation number. You are allowed 3 swaps a week on this thread from Sunday to Saturday. Side swaps are welcome through PM. We try to keep chatter on the chat thread but we don't always do that. If you are are a new BYC member (less than 6 months, you need to send your swap before the sender sends the one you accepted.

Iris do extremely well in the south. My mom is south of New Orleans in Houma and she has tons of them and yes you can eat them or you could potentially save and reuse them. You just have to keep them in an airtight container with no moisture out of sun. I put a little bit of raw rice in a plastic container and keep them in a cabinet.
