last night was steak, alfredo noodles, and cheesy broccoli.

On this first day of winter (high of 61° today) I'm politicking for chili topped with some grated cheese. I think I have better than a 50/50 chance of getting it elected.

Asked my mum what she was making for supper - she told me 'food'. Yay....

Actually it will be pizza, I made bread yesterday and saved a chunk of the dough for pizza tonight

First day of winter?

It's been winter here since Sunday - last friday 22C, this morning -2C and flits of snow... i hate winter.

I have made our own pizza for 11 years now. Have to a science now!

Early supper for me. I made what I guess is a skillet frittata.

I sauteed some chopped up cooked chicken thigh and a chopped green pepper in the skillet for a while then poured beaten eggs over it all. Seasoned it with salt, pepper and parmesan cheese, put the lid on the skillet and cooked it on medium low for about a half hour, until the eggs set up. It was filling and tasty, with a little Pace picante sauce on top.

I lost the election on chilli. Can't complain about sirloin tips on a bed of bow tie pasta and topped with a mushroom gravy, garden tomato, & Fordhook Lima beans.
