Whatcha Making for Supper?

Tomorrow we won't be very warm at all.

Thinking beef stew, mashed taters, gravy, cooked carrots and apple crumble sounds pretty good.

I found a really yummy crumble recipe. It is for peach but that topping is the best! I use granny smith and honeycrisp apples with a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar and a bit of corn starch.

I’d be adding a berry crumble to tonight’s menu if it wasn’t so warm here. Next week — no, Halloween! Apple berry crumble with hatching chicks on the side!

I had to look up gailan...it sounds good with your grilled quail!
I think in English Chinese broccoli. Super yum with a light drizzle of oyster sauce. And it takes about 5 minutes to boil up. Going to cook outside to keep the house cool for Princess Pie (our Cornish x Halloween dinner).

Is there anybody watching this thread who isn’t getting hungry reading all these posts? :drool

I made this a couple nights ago. Great for these now chilly evenings!

Nixed the celery and carrots because I didn't have any celery and my super floppy still-in-the-fridge carrots just weren't gonna cut it :lau Didn't have any basil, so I substituted 1tsp Italian seasoning, added extra potatoes and broth, and used sharp cheddar. Very tasty!

That's sounds wonderful, especially with winter coming! Thanks Meg!
