Both the Princess and I were busy today so we went to Sonic and got take out burgers and shakes.

Ok.......I confess to never eating a beet.

My granny made pickled ones.....I tried those as a kid.....yeah....no.

I love beets.

I do too! This is how I got my son to eat them. It’s basically a beef broth vegetable soup. Although the first recipe I used was vegetarian, I think it has a little deeper flavor made with bones and a little meat. Oh heck I just love soup!

I may have to give it a go.....if I can find beets.....

I only roast my beets. Boiling ruins them in my opinion. I do eat canned beets, so that probably makes me a hypocrite.
