Whatcha Making for Supper?

Went light last night - got home tired and beat up. Ate chilled shrimp and a Caesar salad. I'll make a real meal tonight.
You have me intrigued about your late night activities now. For some reason I'm envisioning something along the lines of Fight Club.

Hey Lisa, you know the 12th rule of Fight Club?

I quartered and simmered a pork rib in water for about an hour, and applied a dry rub mix and baked it for 20 minutes on both sides in a toaster oven. I did the same thing to the rest. My regular size oven is broken, but the stove top work, so I can do with out it for the time being. I saved some of the broth and threw in a piece of dashi kombu, dried shrimp, and dry shintake mushroom. I will use it latter for home made saimin. I have one of those noodle attachments for my dough machine. Alkaline noodle recipes can be found on YouTube.

I read this thread in it's entirety throughout the day and I'm so sad that I've reached the end of it! So many wonderful ideas from you all!

Tonight I'm making mashed potatoes, peas, and (homegrown) baked potchops with cream of mushroom soup. I've never made it this way, but it was a request and I hope it tastes good!

Let us know how your pork chops turn out...your entire dinner sounds good!
