My mom used to make it for an afternoon snack when I was a kid on snowy days. Goes great with a glass of milk!

My plan is to make a huge pot of veggie potato soup tomorrow so we can eat it all week.

I love sweet potatoes (as long as they don't have marshmallows and brown sugar on them). I've never had them in a burrito before, thanks for the idea!

It doesnt really sound good at first but, . Its my go to at a local joint. I havent made it at home yet.

Blushing Bunny is basically a can of tomato soup, 8oz of cheddar or velveeta and a T of Worcestershire sauce. Warm it through until the cheese melts and serve on toast with some green onion. You can put it under the broiler for a minute too but don’t let it brown. Makes a great snack when it’s cold outside. I am using it to cover the meatloaf and will tell the little guy it tastes like pizza. He’ll eat it.

That almost sounds like welsh rarebit. Yummy

I've added spinach in the past. No room this time. I really stuffed the pot full.

No recipe. I wing it each time, boil vegetables add whatever seasoning, usually garlic salt, onion powder, parsley, pepper, add milk, and usually I cheat by adding a couple of cans of cream soup to help flavor and thicken, than add some milk. Sometimes cheese too.

So....I made a pot of chili....chili is not my friend so I made a second dish.

I had hillshire farms hot polish sausage on hand. It sounded good, now what to pair it with?
I pulled some bell peppers I grew, cut and froze out. I pan seared it all....not letting the peppers go to mush of course.

It turned out to be very tasty!
The peppers released just enough sweet to compliment the heat in the sausage.
I will remember that combo!

That's something we make here once in a while...hot sausages, onions & peppers on a roll with mozz cheese, melted under the broiler to make everything all melty.

Similar I suppose. I thought Welsh Rarebit was made with beer, cream and cheese?

Last night we had Campbell's™ Herbed Chicken and Rice soup, with toasted ham and havarti sandwiches with spicy honey mustard. I should start planning tonight's meal now or it may just be something frozen or canned again. On a side note, the hen's house is coming along well.
