I have been making my dough with just a tsp of salt no sugar lately to 1 cup water, yeast, and 2 cup flour. But no matter how much times I do this I always seem to have to drizzle in some water to get the excess flour around the sides. I try to get the dough to a state where its tacky but doesn't stick to my hand or bowl. Hardly any or no dough is stuck to my mixing bowl.Making a chicken, bacon and chorizo pizza tonight
Pizza dough
1 pkg yeast
1 cup hot water
1tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar, I use less BF is diabetic.
2 tbsp olive oil
1 to 2 cups four
Yeast and salt in bowl add the sugar then you hot water, and olive oil.
Mix that thoroughly adding flour 1 cup at time till the dough is looking good .. Pour that to a floured surface,
knead with your hands .. Cover with a towel 10 to 15 minutes .. Knead dough again, less is better than more.
Roll or stretch it to cover your pizza pan.
