Whatcha Making for Supper?

Polenta, gonna try it. Don't know what to do with it except fry it in slices? Anyone try it? Ideas?

The thought is a bit gross to me too maize belongs on the cob and grilled, imo

Anyway...
From my understanding polenta and grits are kinda interchangeable so maybe a back up meal idea should be planned.

I too think grits are quite delicious.

Slice, fry in a little butter, top with cheese and serve with eggs. It's basically Italian grits. I'm sure Italians do other stuff with it, but I keep it on hand as ready made grits. No self respecting Southerner would use instant grits, but with polenta....I'm cultured.

Hard boiled eggs and toast.......OJ/yogurt push-up pop for desert.
It's hot again here, still fairly cool in house tho.

Cooked up ground beef and beans for taco/burritos this morning.
