Whatcha Making for Supper?

Let's see... only got 6 mostly smallish crabs today so I just picked them and made crab fried rice. Yesterday it was boudin and cabbage soup. I see some zucchinis and some jalapeños getting big and fat in the garden, and the celery is tall enough to cut a few stalks, so I will probably make zucchini-sausage stir fry tomorrow.
Welcome sounds like good food there.
 
Making something new today, a French Canadian meat pie (Tourtiere). I have not been all that successful with homemade pie crust, but I have a new recipe to try for it that sounds simple so I'll give it another go. I have frozen store bought pie crusts in the freezer as a backup.

Now, what to serve with a meat pie....broccoli? mashed potatoes and gravy? I read that some people will put gravy on their slice of pie. 🤔 Well, there is one potato in the pie, so I don't know. Maybe just broccoli and a salad.
