Whatcha Making for Supper?

Pizza tonight. Made the poolish yesterday. Still working on the crust and will get fancy with the toppings when I get comfortable with that.

Some of you do eat some interesting pizzas. I have a friend who makes hers with alfredo and shrimp. That sounds so good.
 
Yesterday I had a desire for something Italian, quick and easy.
I made Peppers & Onions with sweet Italian sausage topped with grated parm. served on fresh buns from Publix. I threw in some left over tomato paste from two days earlier to use it up and decided since I like to cook with wine I poured a glass of left over merlot then thought oh what the heck ill add the rest to the batch. all in all very flavorful. Tonight is beer battered fish and chips.

Hi Val, Sorry no we purchas ours, I pick up the party platter from Sam's club and my wife and I Pig out (oh wait) we chicken out.
Sadly we don't have a Sam's club here and Costco doesn't have them. We do have a great sushi restaurant in a town about 45 min away and go there sometimes when we are grocery shopping. Excellent sushi, fresh made with each order.

But it sounds like fun to try making it again myself.
