Whatcha Making for Supper?

I'm making sushi today. Haven't tried to do it in years, but nothing like a new year to claim a fresh start at something!

It was good, but not as good as expected.
I didn't put a topping on it this morning, because I didn't notice the bananas last night, and the banana flavor just isn't there.

I've made bananas foster before and could taste the bananas, so I'm not sure what happened. They were set in melted butter before pouring the batter on top. That's it. I'm dumbfounded. Maybe use older bananas next time?

Hmmm...I wouldn't be the best person to ask. I don't ever bake cakes and I don't like over ripe bananas. I'm sure we have some bakers here who would know what to do. It sure looked good.

Mostly I do pound cakes or cheesecakes.
Don't do them much now.
I took a pork but out to thaw so something with it.
