Whatcha Making for Supper?

Must be good cake. :)

It was good, but not as good as expected.
I didn't put a topping on it this morning, because I didn't notice the bananas last night, and the banana flavor just isn't there.

I've made bananas foster before and could taste the bananas, so I'm not sure what happened. They were set in melted butter before pouring the batter on top. That's it. I'm dumbfounded. Maybe use older bananas next time?

Hmmm...I wouldn't be the best person to ask. I don't ever bake cakes and I don't like over ripe bananas. I'm sure we have some bakers here who would know what to do. It sure looked good.

I was going to do a turkey dinner, but my fatigue is getting me today. So I am going to do a turkey "cottage pie" type dish turkey on the bottom corn then leftover mashed potatoes on top with cheese sprinkled on it. I'm hoping to have some sweet potatoes on the side.

Yeah, I like the way it looked.

I used to make banana ice cream and banana nut bread and they always called for old bananas. But of course you are mushing them up.
I ate the leftover banana from slicing and it tasted like a banana to me, but maybe it wasn't as much flavor as it should have been. I haven't eaten a banana in years.

But I'm sure the bananas add a healthy aspect :D
