Whatcha Making for Supper?

My roasted tomato soup came out OK. In spite of a little snafu early on.

I needed to turn on the broiler to get anything to caramelize. The tomatoes were leaching a lot of water. Just like the tart. So even though I turned up the heat and opened the door, the liquid would not burn off. So on went the broiler and I did not get any fond :(

I must be following the wrong recipes on youtube concerning cooking tomatoes, lol.

Alongside toasted ham and cheese sammies on Italian bread.
