I just love irises and roses and pond plants! Lilies, Lotus, anything that grows in a pond! So just keep on the lookout - and don't let those new eggs beat you again!

Someone mentioned a purple butterfly bush and some other things that caught my eye.....I would like to start trying plant some things and start making this place look like a real yard and not "hillbilly heaven"...but I have limited experience with plants, so if you want to trade some plants, you have to include free advice...lol.

I have a large plot that I want to fill with a sort of "free form" flower garden w/ a mix of perennials and annuals. I have a few daylilies in there now and want to move them anyway...they are planted in a row at the back and I don't like them that way. I also bought some red petunias to stick somewhere...other than that, I'm naked! This plot is about 25 feet long and 4 feet wide, right on the side of the house, so I would say it gets "partial sun"...full in the AM then none in the PM.

The other is a small plot that would be good for said butterfly bush and some other stuff...about 4x6 ft. partial sun.

So...sorry for the long-windedness, but I am looking for suggestions from all your experts to trade for eggs:
Here's what I have-
Standard EE....all blue eggs
Bantam cochins (smooth and frizzle)
BTW Japanese bantams
Silkies (black and white breeders...been throwing white, black, blue, splash babies...coming out of broodiness so not a ton of eggs)
Mille fleur d'uccles (also coming out of broodiness, so not a ton of eggs right now)

What kind of cochins do you have?

I have 6 or so yellow irises & 6 or so wild roses....both are very cold hardy & do well...

Do you mean colors? I have blue, barred, black & white running together. I have been getting a nice asst. of colors in chicks this year. I may also be able to get some buff eggs from a neighbor (not sure if his girls are laying or not).
