Whats the size of those garden flags....wouldnt they make great curtains for the new coop!?? I hope they fit! If so, I might be interested in them.

she went to bed and is offline now but she said a large one u put on the poles and put in the bracket for the first one. if i remember corectly and don't hold me to this,lol i think they r 36 x48 roughly and the second one she is adding didn't say.

They are both the larger size that slide onto the wooden flag pole. I left the bracket for the pole at our last house and don't want to drill into the siding at this house and make the landlord mad so I'm not going to be using them. They were sold at Menards last spring (2007) for about $10 each.

I know I have until 10:11 am for someone to snatch these up but I feel bad no one wants them yet. Come on someone's gotta love garden flags. My aunt has a gigantic collection of them. Nobody else uses them? I'll see about scanning part of the bluebird one and trying to upload it here so you all can see how pretty it is.

Farmgirlie ~ how big is the one with the bird on the mail box? If one chose to, could they put it on a bigger flag pole hanging from their porch or is that not possible? If so, I'd like it and will trade for some poultry press. Need to see how many I have and the issues, though.

Hey, farmgirlie, you don't need to apologize--those are nice flags. They just came up at a time when most folks were asleep!

I know I have been thinking seriously about shipping costs when I offer something now. It quickly adds up with multiple swaps. Even though you are getting something in return, there is no way around the shipping charges! Enjoy the break--it's fun to watch the swapping and trading even if you are one the sidelines!
